Primary Care Sports Medicine
The Primary Care Sports Medicine Program houses a growing clinical presence
with interdepartmental ties with the Department of Orthopedics.
Sites of practice include the new CU Sports Medicine Center in Denver, UFM- Westminster, and the AF Williams Center at Stapleton.
Our current team of physicians have
specialized training in the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal
sports conditions.
The PCSM Program is also involved in the care of athletes of all levels
from high school to professional, as well as the recreational athlete; they
serve as team physicians for area high schools, the University of Colorado
Buffaloes, the University of Denver Pioneers, as well as consultant to
visiting professional teams.
A strong educational mission is also highlighted within the program with
teaching of undergraduate and medical students, as well as resident and
fellow physicians, a focus for each sport medicine physician within the
team.
