Primary Care Sports Medicine

Resident Elective

In July 2002, the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship began offering a two-week resident elective in sports medicine. Our weeks run from the 1-15th of the month and then the 16th to the end of the month. Weeks available are on a first-come first-serve basis. To apply for the two-week elective, we must receive the following information:

• a letter from your current residency director indicating that:
  • You are in good standing with your program;
  • Your residency will be providing you with your usual stipend;
  • Your residency will be responsible for covering your malpractice insurance and worker's compensation coverage while you are with us; and
• A current CV

You must pay for and pass the background check.
