Patient Care in Family Medicine

At the Department of Family Medicine, we are committed to providing outstanding health care based on the principles and values of Family Medicine.

Our clinical programs span across multiple sites and focuses. They include

  • Four Family Medicine centers across the metro Denver area
  • Sports Medicine clinics
  • Team physicians for college and high school athletics including the CU Buffaloes
  • University of Colorado Hospital Inpatient service
  • Medical support of CeDAR (Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation)
  • Cosmetics services
  • Two student health clinics
  • Geriatric Medicine
  • Palliative Care Services in the inpatient, hospice and home setting

Our clinicians strive to provide a patient centered medical home for every patient we care for.

The patient centered medical home is a health care setting that facilitates partnerships between individual patients, and their personal physicians, and when appropriate, the patient's family.

Through a medical home, patients receive primary care that is accessible, continuous, comprehensive, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective.
